• To supervise and correspondence with all Assistant Directors, LG & CD, in District Sialkot for various issues
• To provide different reports to department though director LG & CD, Gujranwala
• To supervise the staff of the Union Council in the District Sialkot
• Inquire the matter received from the Deputy Commissioner, Sialkot related to the Department & other duties assigned by authority

Service

• The services provided at Union Council level the Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriage, and also issued the computerized certificates

Services Fee (If Any)

• Union Councils charge fee of one hundred against each computerized certificate

History

• 1961 Basic Democracy System was established and Assistant Director (Development) Incharge of the District Level
• 1979 Local Government System established and Assistant Director Local Government Incharge at District Level and Offices of Rural Development Markiz established at Thana Level
• 2001, The Rural Development Markiz were finished and Assistant Director / Special Cell, LG&CD was created at District level
• 2017, The Deputy Director, LG&CD at District Level and Assistant Director LG & CD at Tehsil Level
