Faiz Ahmad Faiz

--- Faiz Ahmad Faiz MBE, NI (13 February 1911 – 20 November 1984) was a Indo-Pakistani leftist poet and author and one of the most celebrated writers of the Urdu language. Among other accolades, Faiz was nominated for Nobel Prize in Literature and won the Lenin Peace Prize. Born in Punjab, British India, He went on to serve in the British Indian Army and was awarded in the British Empire Medal. After Pakistan's independence, Faiz became the editor of "The Pakistan Times" and a leading member of the Communist Party before being arrested in 1951 as an alleged part of conspiracy to overthrow the Liaquat administration and replace it with a left-wing government. Read More

 

 

Waheed Murad

--- Waheed Murad (2 October 1938 – 23 November 1983) was a Pakistani film actor, producer and script writer, famous for his charming expressions,  attractive personality, tender voice and unusual talent for acting. Waheed is considered as one of the most famous and influential actors of South Asia. He is often  referred  to as "Chocolaty Hero" or "Chocolate Hero". Born in Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan, did graduation from S.M. Shoaib Malik

--- Shoaib Malik (born 1 February 1982) is a Pakistani cricketer and former captain of the team from 2007 to 2009. He made his One-Day International debut in 1999 against the West Indies and his Test debut in 2001 against Bangladesh. Shahnaz Sheikh

--- Born in Sialkot, Shahnaz Sheikh is a retired Pakistani field hockey player. In 2014, he was the head coach of Pakistan National Hockey Team. A forward, Shahnaz Sheikh played between 1969 and 1978. He was capped 68 times and scored 45 goals for the Pakistan National Hockey Team. He won Silver in 1972 and Bronze in 1976 Olympics. Shahnaz won the 1971 Field Hockey World Cup and was runner-up in 1975 and won again in 1978. Shahnaz was one of the most skilled hockey players that Pakistan had produced.
